Thanks for following along!

Yesterday I hit the studio (in Indonesia at $7/hr) to demo record bass & some vocals. This helps me to get a grasp on what the song needs production-wise. 

We are about to break ground on electric guitar! One of my cruise colleagues is donating his abilities on 1 song. Very Exciting! Final bass guitar is now halfway completed for the record, and drums is 100% done on the songs currently in production (8/10 songs with current funding). 

The lead single Steel Drum Man is 90% complete, I am finishing my vocal editing this weekend, and putting the final tweaks on the arrangement before sending the song to be professionally mixed ($140). I am planning to release this song on the final weekend of the campaign, exclusively to my contributors first!

Fun fact: when distributing music, the song needs to be submitted at least 2 weeks in advance to be considered by Spotify playlist curators (the best [only?] way to make decent money on Spotify!). 3-4 weeks is even recommended due to the volume of music released per day.

There's more music released per day in 2026 than in the entire year of 1985!!
