Back On Land
Time at home as allowed me relax a bit, and begin the demoing process for my next release. I think the song I'm most excited about at the moment is called "Black Box", a modern form of a sea shanty.
The song is about the sinking of the El Faro during Hurricane Joaquin. The event was more or less covered up, even being a seafarer myself, the news never reached me until years later. It seems there were a lot of blunders in the corporate side of it, and I felt like I could relate.
In two weeks I'll be back at sea, reading up to fund the album.
